Nettwerk website, 27.05.2005: Delerium begin working on their 8th album
Joining forces with long time writing and producer partner Rhys Fulber, Bill Leeb has been working on songs for a new Delerium album. A departure from the more traditional verse/chorus like song arrangements of the last few Delerium albums, Poem and Chimera, Bill describes this new album as a return to songs that are more journey-like, in some cases more worldy and exotic and in other cases quite electronic. There will be a variety of vocalists featured on the album but in most cases they are singers that shine in non-traditional music.



The vocalists:
Isabel Bayrakdarian sang the song "Evenstar" on the soundtrack for "Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers".

Zoë Johnston could previously be hear on several songs by Faithless, as well as on Above & Beyond's "No one on Earth" and "Good for me", and Delerium's tracks "Love" and "You & I".

Kristy Thirsk is probably the vocalist who sang on more Delerium songs than anyone else. The could be heard on most of the older tracks, like "Heaven's Earth", and most recently on "Returning" (from the "Chimera" album).

Kirsty Hawkshaw does not really need an introduction - one of the most well-known voices in dance music (a.o. Tiësto, "Just be"), she could most recently be heard on Mr. Sam's "Insight", Fragma's "Radio waves" and Hybrid's "Just for today". She now returns with Delerium, after having sung for them on two tracks on the "Poem" album, "Inner sanctum" and "Nature's kingdom".

Kiran Ahluwalia is a relatively unknown artist, who seems to have done a few solo songs titled "Balama" and "Morning breeze".

Katharine Blake and the Mediaeval Baebes - I don't really know why they are credited separately, since Katharine Blake is one of the Mediaeval Baebes. They could previously be heard on Delerium's song "Aria".

Jaël, real name Rahel Krebs, is the singer of a Swiss band named Lunik. She collaborated with Delerium on "After all", the first single from the album "Chimera" in 2003. Lunik are currently set to release their new single "Little bit" and album "Preparing to leave".

In May 2006 Tiësto decided to become the worldwide ambassador for Dance4Life, and to invest considerate amounts of his time and efforts to the one charity in which he could really find himself. Immediately the production of a Dance4Life anthem was discussed, as a means to reach as many youngsters around the world as possible, and to spread the Dance4Life message among them. Dance4Life approached Maxi Jazz to translate the Dance4Life message into song lyrics and to lend his unique voice to the project. As Maxi enthusiastically lend his cooperation to the project, the two icons produced a truly amazing song, where Maxi's words and Tiësto's music perfectly intertwine into a dynamic piece which could not better suit the Dance4Life vision. On Sunday August 13th, at the 16th International Aids Conference on World Aids Day in Toronto, the Dance4Life anthem will be premiered during the massive coverage of the event which includes feature speakers as Bill Gates, Bill Clinton and Kofi Annan and musical guests as Alicia Keys, Pink, Cyndi Lauper and our very own Tiësto. Proceeds from the release will be donated to Stop AIDS Now! and Mybody, both NGO's active in fighting the pandemic. The accompanying video for Dance4Life will be broadcasted soon after the release, showcasing the "Small world theory". This theory thrives on the idea that within a chain of six people every person on the globe knows every other person. Based on that idea, we know every person with HIV but also every person that could contribute to the solution to it. bueno respondiendo a tu pregunta, el post se creo para que tuvieramos noticias de los nuevos discos que circularan o estan circulando al rededor del mundo y en base al trance, de estos discos no se proporciona el link ya que solo son informativos. habra algunos que tienen la suerte y medios para comprarlos via internet legalmente y otros que realmente los conseguimos en algun foro, cosa que no es muy sana hablando honestamente pero que es de la unica forma que podemos escucharlos.

Que es lo que busco al postear estos discos.

1.- Participación de los usuarios del foro, ya sea dando su punto de vista o alguna reseña más para ampliar la información de cada disco.

3. Que alguien más ayude a postear nuevos discos, ya sean discos, singles o formatos de 12"

Sinceramente me quedo con la boca abierta al ver tantisimo material informativo que posteas Guille, (te puedo llamar asi??) no tengo el gusto de conocerte, pero espero poder hacerlo algun dia tanto electronica como personalmente... (seria un placer) te agradeceria si algun dia me dijeras donde puedes bajar alguno de estos finisimos y exquisitos materiales (ya que me he dado a la tarea de buscarlos por la basta supermegahyperultracarretera de la informacion y no los he podido hallar, te lo agradeceria mucho, ya que como lo dice el buen Bertín, son dificiles de conseguir legalmente y a veces no nos queda de otra, pues morimos por escuchar materiales nuevos de los renombrados DJ'S a nivel mundial.

Igualmente siempre es bueno conocer a los miembros de la comunidad, ya que despues se hacen muy buenos amigos en este sitio. aunque realmente electronicamente no soy una experta.

Bueno de sitios no se de muchos, pero te comento que por lo regular entro a las paginas oficiales de los dj y casi siempre ellos mismos tienen su tienda virtual en la que puedes hacer las compras (ojo solo dije que entro no que compro :D :D ), ya sea del álbum completo o tu single favorito. las disqueras por su puesto que tambien tienen venta por internet, eso si debes tener lista tu tarjeta de crédito y dependiendo a sus reglas y tipos de cambio de moneda es su costo. obviamente la calidad del archivo supera lo que puedas conseguir gratis.

From the opening chords of track one, Ohmna’s People Get Lost - a deep Balearic guitar track - the mix weaves in and out through the sort of tunes you’d expect from the head of the Coldharbour imprint. Since setting the label up through Armada, Markus has spotted and championed a number of new talents, many of whom have gone on to enjoy global success themselves.
